About StandardSnap

Helping teachers plan, document, and personalize instruction with clarity and confidence.

StandardSnap is a lesson planning and documentation tool built for K–12 teachers. It uses AI to analyze assignments, games, and samples of student work against academic standards—starting with the Kentucky Academic Standards—and then generates clear, standards-aligned learning objectives, suggested skills, and personalized student support accommodations in seconds. Instead of spending evenings cross-referencing standards and rewriting lessons, teachers can upload a single file and get a structured, editable plan they can refine and save.

The platform is designed for both regular education and special education teachers. For special educators, StandardSnap goes a step further: it connects each lesson to anonymous student support profiles, suggesting Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) and Supplementary Aids and Services (SAS) tailored to the students in a given class. Teachers can track service minutes, least restrictive environment settings, and caseload supports—all without storing personally identifiable student information. Every student is represented by an anonymous label, keeping compliance and privacy at the center of the workflow.

Beyond planning, StandardSnap helps teachers stay organized throughout the year. Lessons appear on a district-aware calendar that reflects instructional days, holidays, and breaks, so scheduling always matches the real school year. Teachers can archive completed plans at the end of a term, track which standards have been addressed, and export polished lesson documents to Google Drive for sharing with colleagues or administrators.

StandardSnap is built by a small, independent team focused on reducing the paperwork that pulls teachers away from teaching. We work closely with educators to keep the tool practical, calm, and genuinely useful—whether you are planning a single reading group or managing a full special education caseload. Our goal is simple: give teachers back their time while making standards-based, individualized instruction easier to deliver.
